An ambitious brand can not be satisfied with ordinary packaging.

 

Swedish eyewear brand NIVIDAS loves details. Therefore, even for its packaging requires detailed care.

When you build a brand that you believe in and sacrifice personal comfort and security without thinking about it with proven designs that are copied all over the world, you have really big demands on your suppliers. The young brand NIVIDAS from Stockholm was founded by headstrong enthusiasts only in 2014, but it was thanks to their dogged adherence to the smallest details that they immediately made a name for themselves. They want to keep an eye on everything – from the design of glasses, to their production to sale. The production process of each piece takes up to 4 months and NIVIDAS are proud of it. Packaging must therefore correspond to the complexity and quality of the entire brand – premium materials, unique details and maximum quality of production.

The box for NIVIDAS glasses was made by hand, in a print run of only 200 pieces. The box is based on a proven, but precise fit combination of coated case with lid and foam interior. The upholstery material is durable Wibalin Buckram paper in Paris Blue. A gold embossing of the company logo in 3D was placed on the lid of the box, the accompanying text of the product was also solved by embossing, but this time from the inside of the box. The precisely inserted interior, in which, in addition to the glasses themselves, the company also presents gift items, was realized using precise shape cut-outs made of black foam. An essential element of the resulting effect was a minimalist map of London in the space of the upper face of the interior. The outline of the punched shapes had to be measured very precisely again – it was specifically 0.5 mm larger than the holes in the lower layers of foam. In the serial production of similar solutions, a slight deformation of the cardboard usually occurs when inserting the contents, which, however, completely destroys the unique impression of the quality of the premium product.

We expect extraordinary quality demands from our clients. But also the agreed dates and price. It's understandable. We like to work for personalities who devote a lot of energy to their brands. It is logical that they will then not be satisfied with the average in any respect. We say we make packaging. In reality, however, our delivery often exceeds the "mere" packaging in many ways. Over time, we have also become specialists in interior inserts, special graphic techniques and other unconventional details. And we are grateful to our clients for that. We like to work on such orders.
