We like small series – hundreds, dozens of pieces. For such orders, quality matters most. After all, a representative catalogue for an exhibition or a luxury notebook are never thousands of costs. We do not want to work with eye-catching materials, banal graphics, we do not know how to turn a blind eye to average processing. Today, demanding clients and designers with experience from the world imagine a modern design of binding, envelopes with demanding details, the use of various types of paper and cardboard in a block, all in a precisely defined load. This is our world and we are perfectly equipped for such challenges. Our old, traditional threads are set up in no time, whether you want several hundred pieces or one single unique print. That is why we will gladly accept an order that a large bookbinder rejects.
"The orange one, it must be Pantone 158, there is no train going through it," the order read. However, the print run is small, it is printed on Colorplan Imperial Blue material with a distinctive structure – offset is not possible, digital cannot do it, screen printing does not cover and letterpress does not give in to cardboard. But when you have enthusiasts in the workshop, of course, the solution is found. In this case, hot embossing thanks to a wide range of special foils from England, among which the gentlemen in the workshop also carved the right orange. Non-standard was also a big positive emboss and tiny white text graphics. We sewed the book from the aforementioned Colorplan with high-weight interlacing and transparent papers. Even the gallows deadline was achieved thanks to experience. We would like to thank our colleagues from Indigoprint in Prague for the perfect digital printing of the block. It is a pleasure to work with them.
So you're saying you need to sew something together too? Hardcover V8, Swiss weave, soft weave, V1 sewn with thread, flat sewing, Japanese weave, hand sewing with thick thread...
