Once bookbinders, always bookbinders. Hässlers. Sthlm 1902 - Prg 2022.

We haven't heard each other for a long time! But that doesn't mean we're idle. We worked on a lot of interesting projects: Klarna, Crystalex, Marvel, Oraculum... And also on the new site! So now we invite you again to the world of incredible adventures of the bookbinding craft.

NEW PROJECTS AND NEW CHALLENGES

The world is spinning in incredible turbulence. The prices of materials and everything around them are climbing to dizzying heights, but we will not stop. Production in our packaging and bookbinding industry is affected by the post-covid overpressure of demand. And that's a good thing. For months now, we have been busy with increasingly interesting projects. And we've also completed more than a year of work on a new site that we want to show off to you. In short, it's time to share the news!

UPGRADED BOOKBINDERY

We believe that the bookbinding craft is immortal. In our production, we continue the 120-year-old Swedish-Czech tradition, which is based on cast iron machines and skilful hands of bookbinders. In conjunction with modern paper materials, constructions and printing techniques, what we call "upgraded bookbindery" is created, something like bookbinding 2.0. It is a method that, when commissioned for the design of contemporary bookbinding and packaging products, solves any complex production and logistics. It's fascinating to see how a Texas-based design studio that works for Apple designs a vision for Klarna Bank, which we then materialize into reality in our production. Or how the sophisticated skill of the perfume start-up Oraculum by Renata Muchová gains another dimension thanks to our unique coated boxes. And when we sent Marvel and Disney interactive boxes to influencers around the world right from our workshop, we have to admit that we felt a simple honest pride in our work.

LOOK FORWARD TO NEW INSPIRATION

We promised a new website and we are fulfilling the promise. You will find not only our projects, but also a view of our workshop. Or right under the hood. We do not play on any "production secrets", so we have an extensive catalog of our favorite materials, photos of machines and descriptions of technological procedures, a lot of detailed stories of bookbinding craft in our blog, but also a lot of inspiration for your own projects. As the icing on the cake, the profile of the Lessebo paper mill, which has been producing the whitest papers in the world for 364 years, a crisis of no crisis, awaits you. About that next time, because we represent the Swedish Lessebo Paper in the Czech Republic. Stay tuned!
